WEBER, Paul (1823-1916), landscape and portrait painter.  Born in Darmstadt.  Studied in, settled in Philadelphia.  Frequent exhibitor at Pennsylvania Academy.  In 1857 he toured Scotland and Germany, in 1860 he returned to Philadelphia.  He frequently collaborated with the painter Christian Schüssele.  Weber painted the landscape and Schüssele the figures in the same picture.
